Booking Terms

These terms apply to trips booked through evtaxi.is with EvTaxi ehf., a licensed day tour provider (Ferðamálastofa licence no. 2022-062).

Prices

• All prices are per car, not per person
• One car carries up to 8 passengers with luggage
• Paying online in advance gives you a 15% discount on the full price
• Choosing to pay on arrival means the full price, paid to the driver by card or cash

Booking and confirmation

You receive a confirmation by email as soon as your booking is received. If you chose to pay in advance, your trip is confirmed once the payment has gone through. We will contact you if anything about your booking needs clarifying.

Airport pickups

For pickups at Keflavík Airport we ask for your flight number, and it is required when booking online. We track the flight so that we are there when you actually land, including when the flight is delayed. Without it we cannot follow your arrival.

Changes and cancellation

You can cancel free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. To change or cancel a booking, reply to your confirmation email or call us on +354 790 3838. If your plans change at short notice, please tell us as soon as you can and we will do our best to help.

If we cannot find you at the pickup point and cannot reach you by phone, the driver may record the trip as a no-show.

Your trip

• Please be ready at the agreed time and place
• Tell us in advance if you need a child seat or have unusual luggage
• Iceland's weather and road conditions occasionally force a change of route or timing, and safety always comes first
• If a tour cannot run safely, we will offer you an alternative time or a refund

Refunds

Where a refund is due, we return it to the card used for payment through our payment provider. Depending on your bank it may take a few days to appear.

If something goes wrong, contact us at info@evtaxi.is and we will try to put it right. These terms are governed by Icelandic law.
